Jason Wu Resort 2011

Mix together a little Parisian chic, long lunches and delightful summer dresses that will work for any occasion and you have Jason Wu’s Resort 2011 collection. Wu opened the show with a chic short and blouse ensemble held together by a pussy bow tied scarf and continued with girly, feminine influences. He stuck with a neutral colour palette injecting splashes of coral pink, hibiscus purple and floral prints throughout the looks. Beautiful one shouldered floaty blouses, layered cocktail dresses and a sheer asymmetrical maxi gown showed off Wu’s penchant for the dress. Not to be outdone were the beautiful Coco Chanel inspired striped breton tops, khaki coats and nude coloured shorts and mini skirts.
