Louis Vuitton Fall 2010
Chloe Fall 2010
Sonia RykielFall 2010

Womanly. Ladylike. Feminine. A return to the basics.
Name it what you like but the the female silhouette and all that it connotates is having a moment.
From Louis Vuitton and Pradas buxom models to Chloe and Sonia Rykiels feminine fabrics and embellishments; enhancing a womans natural curves and embracing those things that make us a feel like women is the trend du jour.
Add to that a dash of whimsy and a touch of escapism and you have the fashion worlds mood board. Fabrics such as chiffon, silk, brocade and linen are mixed with a dreamy pastel colour palette of nudes, soft pinks, dove greys and egg shell blues to create garments that celebrate curves and discard androgyny. Women are encouraged to slip on a dress with heels, mix nude jackets with nude pants and belt everything.
