There was a collective sigh at RAFW last night as Nicola Finetti released another candy coloured collection down the runway. Sticking to his customary style of cocktail dresses and elegant evening wear the collection was focused around a nude palette with splashes of white and coral pink.
Shorter hemlines were met with cut out detail around the bodice and pale beading were interspersed throughout the collection. Draped nude and cream sequinned gowns featured in the collection, showing off Finetti's tailoring and whimsical feminine style.
A white skirt suit evoked feelings of the 60's and fashions latest Mad Men trends and appreciation of old glamour. It was Nicola Finetti at his best, a pastel palette and waisted silhouettes.
